About Jeff Todd
I have been educated in both Canada and the UK and earned a few pieces of paper along the way. Since then I have tried to gather diverse, character-building experience.
After some intense training at the Toronto Star, reporting on murders, fires, car accidents and other tragedies, I had the chance to join what could be the last major national newspaper launch in history.
Three years later, I moved on from The National in Abu Dhabi to become Business Editor at the Nassau Guardian.
It was a trial by fire with Hurricane Irene. And Sandy.
Two hurricanes, three economic downgrades, a national election, referendums and construction of the largest resort project in the western hemisphere occurred in just two years.
Opportunity came knocking again, in June 2013, when I was hired to ghost write my first memoir.
When I'm not working you'll find me zooming around the Caribbean, exploring the ruins of Petra, roaming the Himalayas, trudging the beaches of Normandy or flying off jumps at Ski Dubai, an indoor slope in the desert.
Barring that, I'll be engaged in the most sacred of rituals - writing (and re-writing, and re-writing ...)
in the morning with a strong cup of coffee.
My first novel was published in August 2012. My second, set in the Middle East, should be released in 2013.
